One thing I hate about attending weddings is that it makes me yearn for my own wedding to come... soon... very soon. As a little girl, I dreamed of walking down a very long church aisle, wearing a princess-like wedding gown with hundreds of witnesses all thinking how radiant and beautiful I am. Afterwards, we will all go to a very fancy hotel to celebrate with me my happiness.
But now, I've come to realize that maybe what I'm yearning for will happen only when I start thinking about "my" wedding collectively... like as in "ours" - me *AND* him. After all, weddings are supposed to be a union of two souls in love.
*SIGH*. So until my time comes, I've settled with revising my childhood dream from a big fancy city wedding to a small intimate wedding in Baguio, amidst the cold weather, fresh flowers and pine trees. And in front of our closest family and friends, both of us will promise each other forever.
